1920s-themed playing cards

My response to a brief from a luxury games brand for a deck of Art Deco themed playing cards. The brief was 'the roaring 20s' and my initial proposal was colourful, featuring jewel tones. After my designs were not picked, I decided to work on them and develop the designs, going for a simpler colour scheme and cleaner lines and shapes. I had the final designs printed as a prototype.
